Ring from the Magma collection

Description

The artistic silver ring is handmade in our jewellery studio. The classic form of the ring is altered by the irregular structure of silver. The band features embedded colourful nanocrystals. The performance technique itself and frames of embedded stones are to remind us of the burning heart of Earth, its natural right to ongoing changes, regardless of our expectations and what we are accustomed to. Magma jewellery collection was made using a special technique of embedding stones in individual models and processing them, along with hot silver, at a very high temperature of 1100°C. The ring makes a beautiful whole with other pieces from the same collection.
